    Wool/Mohair Blend Suits

Apparently, Google was right and I was wrong. 320 grams is approximately 11.3 ounces, not approximately 10.8 ounces.

    Wool/Mohair Blend Suits

Actually, 320 grams is roughly 10 3/4 ounces, since 300 grams is ten ounces and 315 grams is 10 1/2 ounces. 330 grams is 11 ounces and 345 grams is 11 1/2 ounces, which makes 340 grams roughly 11 1/4 ounces.

    Wool/Mohair Blend Suits

Are wool/mohair blend suits appropriate for more somber occasions (such as job interviews and the workplace)? When I buy my first bespoke suit, I’m looking at a 71% worsted wool/29% mohair blend solid suit fabric from Vitale Barberis Canonico. The fabric is 320 grams and it’s described as an...

    Jacket And Waistcoat Inquiries

I know that many jackets for warm weather are unlined in the rear interior and each side of the front interior as it wears much cooler provided the shell fabric is cooler wearing. Of course, such jackets are still fully lined in the sleeves as they would be hard to put on and take off without...

    Dressing Well in the Heat

Two days ago, parts of New York City and Long Island got into the 100s with a real feel temperature in the 110s. Most areas, however, were in the 90s with 100s real feel with some areas on the south shore of Suffolk and the east end in the mid to upper 80s with mid to upper 90s real feel.

Upon Request: A Plethora of Shirts

I’m not the best with computers, either. Typing properly is impossible for me. That’s why I could never do data entry nor digital entry. ☹️

Upon Request: A Plethora of Shirts

All of these collars are high cut I noticed. With the exception of short necked people, people look much better in high cut collars than low cut ones (especially long necked people, who look dreadful in low cut collars). Short necked people look just as dreadful in high cut collars as long...

Upon Request: A Plethora of Shirts

Personally, I like the bar collars, clip collars, tab collars and wide spread collars the best of the bunch.

Button Down Shirts with Double Breasted Jackets

Personally, I prefer all of my jackets to be a little longer, be it double breasted or single breasted. I also am not a fan of button down collars with double breasted jackets, peak and shawl lapel single breasted jackets or, for that matter, any suits. These are more formal outfits that...

What do you mean by single lapel and double lapel? Perhaps you mean single breasted and double breasted?

In that case, I would wear black smooth calfskin non brogue cap toe oxfords with a black lounge suit and a morning suit.

I would wear black patent leather whole cut court shoes with a black grosgrain silk pinched bow with a morning suit and white tie and tails and black patent leather plain toe oxfords with black grosgrain silk wide laces with a dinner suit where the coat and trousers match each other and with a...

    The Three-piece Suit Thread

Even with the dreaded ten pounds the camera adds to a person’s body, you look like you still have a washboard stomach at your age (62 and up is a senior citizen, for what it’s worth), upr crust. If you’re still under 62, you’re not yet a senior citizen. However, if you just turned 65, you’ve...

You need to trade that small 9 Millimeter handgun for the mighty .44 or .500 Magnum handgun. When properly used, these Magnums and .357 Magnum give good control, you always hit what you aim for. And, when properly used, they can remove the fingerprints.

    About Pick Stitching

Personally, I simply like the way pick stitching looks. And, personally, I like the way functional buttons on the cuffs of coat sleeves look. Plus, I find them more comfortable as the fit is better. What other people think is of no concern to me, personally. Besides, fit is most important...
