Current family member a Goldendoodle, could not be happier with our choice.
Her inteligence scares me.
I would not be without one regardles their pedigree, Most humans I can, ( be without ) regardles their pedigree.
I have dedicated a wall full of photos and documented pedgree of all...
Would +1000 be over the top?
A position I have held for much of my life. They display far more inteligence than those who believe they are far more inteligent than a dumb animal. Dumb? Myabe in terms they cannot speak, but, display no less inteligence.
The shirts you refer to have what are called cocktail cuffs. I have a couple, I think also refered to as Bond cuffs.
There was a firm in the U.K. that offered them, I believe a bespoke tailoring shop that offered them ready made. I can't recall the the chaps name.
Would it not help if the excess was trimmed and then pressed flat say to the width of original
But to the OP's question, we know it can be done but I'm inclined to believe he doesn't have skill to perfom it.
And not having talented local tailors available to him, unless he's willing to...
I'm not quite sure what you're describing. Are you saying once you open the seam and then reseam to create the desired taper, you are left with the excess fabric on each side of the new seam? Do you trim away that exces fabric or just fold it over?
It would help to know before responding...
We have a smaall chain of stores that offer mostly ethnic italian food products. The closest I can come to what you describe is offered by them called prociutto bread, loaded with sausage and prociutto, suupressado made with lard. Takes me back to when my Grandmother and Mother would slave over...
Threw 2 machines in the garbage shortly after purchase. Both failed.
Luckily we have a bakery that does excelent sourdough bread a ten minute drive away.
A good loaf of crusty Italian bread baked in a brick oven by a master is another story, sadly the one remaining family that produced them...
As indicaed above, Matt provided a good example of trouser fit.
Ideal has more with to do with respect to the individual, not a one size fits all.
I am hesitant to give further advice to eliminate the twist in those trousers,
However, my tailor, given there is enough fabric behind those...
Matt, see my response to your post about standing straight.
Do we include twisted trouser leg looks ? Man can do what he pleases , we're discussing, at this point at least, proper tailoring. If we all adhered to the latest trend/fashion that come and go seasonally why bother. Just go with the...
He seems to be standing straight, notice the pull at the hip and then further dowon the leg
causing a twist, in an attempt to taper the leg it appears they just gathered fabric pulled it in to the seam and stitched and continued tapering down the outside amplifying the twist.
Best as I can...
I'm sure others have noticed the cyclone twist on those trousers created by too severe taper from waistband to cuff, the taper taken unevenly at the seems. Recall "clean look"? Clean drape?
But I guess the OP is happy with the result. So be it. :deadhorse:
