Wilfred Brimley, at 112 or something. Brimley was very good at playing roles that called for uncompromising, grumpy old a-holes. Unfortunately there aren't that many so most of the time he came across as thoroughly unpleasant. Unless you needed diabetic supplies, which he hocked on tee vee forever and which in turn kept him in beer and marmalade. He was not a thin man. RIP

Yes, forgot about Cacoon. And one of my favorite films of all time, The Natural. First encountered him in a sweet liile short-lived NBC show called Our House in the late 80s. But beyond those, he wore on me.
