So this weekend I was fortunate enough to thrift a pair of vintage, Florsheim Imperial alligator/crocodile shoes in my size.
The odd thing is that they have a single eyelet and the laces inserted were obviously too long.
I have emailed Florsheim but cannot find anything online about where to purchase such short replacement laces.
Anyone have a similar problem and figured out a fix?

Thanks,

Never seen such short laces, but clip on metal aglets are easy enough to find. Perhaps cut a pair of laces to the desired length and re-aglet them yourself?
