We have been fans of cordovan at Pediwear for sometime. The Crockett and Jones Horween offerings are of course, sublime, but we have also enjoyed ordering cordovan MTOs from Trickers and more recently our own (Edward & James) offerings made from English cordovan - made for us by Barker and Cheaney.
Since we have stocked Carmina, we have lingered longingly over their Cordovan offerings. Using the finest Horween cordovan combined with their world renowned craftsmanship and stylish lasts, Carmina have won over many customers. So, at Pediwear, we are very proud to announce that we are now stocking Carmina cordovan. We are now offering the 80179 toe cap boot on the Soller last. The toe cap boot is a popular vehicle for cordovan and this is a very fine example.
We already have experience of selling the 80250 double monk (which we call Nicolas) in calf leather - but this is the first double monk shoe we have sold in cordovan. It is a spectacular shoe to behold (especially when drawn fresh from all the finery of a Carmina box). We expect that this is the start of a long and exciting journey with Carmina cordovan.
Hello. I hav been to your site a few times. I have never purchased a pair of English shoes but seem nearer to pulling the trigger then ever. I need help with fit. I am most comfortable in US size 11 EEE. I generally wear wingtips/brogues. Should I be looking at UK fit G, Gx or H?
THank you for your interest in our site. We would advise that a UK 10.5 Gx would be most appropriate - though it is possible that a size 10H would also fit. Was there a particular brand or style you were after?
We have had a few enquiries regarding our Carmina ranges recently. I can happily confirm that we are offering a full range of sizes in our stock ranges. We have spoken to Betty at Carmina this morning who confirms that the factory is open and ready to receive orders, so we will be able to maintain our stock levels.
David is our Carmina brand manager and very able to take your questions on sizes, fitting and availability. Please post a message or send him an email.
Hello all, and hello particularly to Crockett and Jones fans. I hope you are all keeping well during these trying times.
We currently have no waiting list for Crockett orders (C&J have kindly given us the same allocation despite the factory being closed during the UK COVID lockdown).
If you have been considering a Crockett purchase, now is a good time.
I thought I would share this image of the Crockett show room from the 1920's along with image to tempt you with the exquisite Cavendish loafer.
David has a very detailed knowledge of the Crockett lasts - so please don't hesitate to ask if you are wondering about fitting.
Hello all, trust you are all keeping safe. We have been very busy preparing for the re-opening of our retail shop - all steam ahead for Monday.
I am sure nobody will have forgotten that it is father's day on 21st June - and with this in mind we have a wonderful selection of premium English made leather goods from Ettinger. Each item will be gift wrapped free of charge and shipped with a free bookmark. We will match the colour of your purchase with the bookmark.
Hello everyone - we have just received delivery of these fine loafers - a new collaboration for Edward & James. We are very pleased with all of them - the tassel loafer has a bold contemporary countenance, and the leather of the penny loafer is just so sumptuously soft. Perhaps our favourite though is the following style:
which manages to stylishly combine being a loafer and a monk shoe at the same time.
Well, it has been a strange couple of seasons - for everybody. A lot of our deliveries have been delayed and some have been cancelled due to COVID/production problems at the factories.
We have just received a delivery of styles for our own brand Edward and James - which will be added to the site over the next week. Some replenish existing styles, but we are also adding new.
Another new style which came in a couple of weeks ago, the Horwich, is fantastic value for an English made Goodyear welted style (£172.66 or £143.88 ex VAT) - pictured here, alongside the gorgeous Leadon (also English made). If you aren't working from home this winter we think one of these two just need to be in the wardrobe this winter

We have more stock on the way in from Barker and a new brand we are very excited about.
We have added more Carmina to our already wide range including these fine examples:
We have another two styles from Carmina on the way to the photographers.
Nathan and I visited the Cheaney factory recently and are happy to report that we are expecting replenishments of our Edward & James / Cheaney styles, in addition to formulating interesting ideas to further develop this range into next year.
So we have plenty still to come this season and are looking ahead to how we may continue to develop our offerings into 2021. We will keep you updated in this thread as new items arrive. Stay safe everyone.

TLB Mallorca
We have now unleashed our new brand - the fabulous TLB Mallorca. We have a chosen a selection representing both the Artista and Main collections - and added in some boots. We are very impressed with the quality of the leather and the workmanship. The lasts fit exceptionally well. We are confident that our discerning customers will be equally impressed.
