Dear all,
I have a crossbody bag--handmade from good leather by an Italian shoemaker--of which I am very fond.
There's only one problem.
The nap on the suede side on the strap and in the interior of the bag is quite long; it sheds bits of suede like crazy, and they stick to everything. I've rubbed it vigorously with a crepe brush and vacuumed it a few times, but with no improvement.
Can anyone recommend anything to stop this from happening? I've thought of running an electric hair clipper over it.
Thank you kindly for your collective wisdom.
