When do you toss your suits out?

When I worked I wore them until they were getting threadbare, much like the way I wore my OCBDs until I had to turn the collars and then wore the second side ragged. Now I am retired and have lost my desk related adiposity. I have one suit, a dark grey Southwick. I would love one or two summer suits but the realist in me says not to go there, even though a grey seersucker and an oyster poplin would be fun.
