    Brooks Brothers sport shirts

Do all of Brooks Brothers sport shirts fit slimmer than their dress shirts? I wear a 15/33 Milano dress shirt, and was advised to order a small for their sport shirts. I got a Milano linen shirt in the mail today, and it fit fine in the shoulders, but was too slim in the chest.

    Is the shoulder fit good?

An old sport coat, the shoulders are a little too big, it looks odd considering I have a small head and body. I save it for the coldest days that require additional layering underneath.

    Is the shoulder fit good?

The armholes are good. I have an old sport coat that has that issue, I can tell when the shoulder pads go all over with arm movement. Pretty much every Regent fit jacket I have ever tried on in my size, has higher/ better fitting armholes. I wear a 38R, and have yet to encounter a 36R sport coat...

    Is the shoulder fit good?

If I try to do a handstand, I will probably end up in the hospital.

    Is the shoulder fit good?

OK. Ask always, thank you. I thought it might’ve been just a little bit too big at first.

What Are You Wearing Today 2.0?

Last day of my summer vacation. I figured I’d get some more use out of my sport coat.

    Is the shoulder fit good?

I haven't had the jacket altered or anything. I was a little skeptical about to do the shoulders.

I always tuck my polo shirts in when there’s a tail or if it is longer in the back. Marine Corps habits tend to stick with me.

    Linen vs seersucker sport coats

I’m in the process of expanding my summer wardrobe. I already own two linen sport coats I picked up a few years ago. That being said, which of these two jackets gives me better versatility? My gut tells me linen, but please correct me if I am wrong. Is it acceptable to wear linen trousers...

What Are You Wearing Today 2.0?

A little too humid to wear a sport coat and trousers, so I improvised.

    Shoe trees for loafers

I’m looking for shoe trees that don’t have springs that stick, making it hard to remove the tree from the shoe. That and I was asking specifically for something better for softer leather.

    Ripple on lapel

    Aye aye sir.

    Ripple on lapel

It looks as though the wool does not run taut with the canvas. Would I need to ask the tailor to undo the stitching on the lapel to smooth it out, or would that only cause more problems?

    Ripple on lapel

I can almost smooth it out when running my finger across. It’s hard to see, but that’s what it does. In that case, would you do anything about it?

    Ripple on lapel

It is very subtle, and runs parallel with the pinstripes. If it’s not noticeable in picture form, I’m good then.

    Ripple on lapel

i recently got a custom Joseph Abboud suit made. It is a little difficult to describe, but the left lapel has what looks or feels like a ripple or wavy. Almost like there is excess fabric on it. I don’t know if it is the wool itself or the canvas underneath. It is barely noticeable between the...

    Shoe trees for loafers

Let me correct myself. I meant the ones that are of better quality than what you would find at most stores? For example, in my experience I find that a generic brand such as Kiwi are not good.
