Here is my latest pair. George Cleverley Charles in Burgundy Calf. Lovely shoes and wonderful fitting...

Some swatches arrived today. Think I am going with the hop sack after all:
I have some Andover charcoal trousers that are tropical weight. I am also considering wearing something slightly more fanciful such as colorful...
Hopsack strikes me as slightly too informal. Like, one step above cotton or linen etc. Which is fine. I forgot to mention that I plan on having...
For the record, this is gonna be a total dandy jacket...
So what if I went with the following specs
Smoked MOP Buttons
@Matt S Do you still feel the prospective navy blazer would look like an orphaned jacket if we went with the MOP buttons pictured above?
$700 for a fused jacket is highway robbery.....
They are smoked MOP.
Do you know if any of BB's blazer are fully canvassed?
What about Golden Fleece?
Are any of BB blazers fully canvassed?
I could always have the buttons replaced on this jacket:
Is this full canvass?...
Fair enough. You may further view the Caruso jacket here:
For the record, I am open to hopsack, herringbone, doeskin etc....
The best course of action is to wait until the swatches come in the mail...
So I don't know if I shared pics of these yet.
Alden Ravello Shell Cordovan Wingtip Boots on Plaza Last from February 2019:
Why don't we encourage the OP to seek out a different style of shell cordovan footwear?
May I suggest a Blucher in #8?
@Matt S how do you feel about doeskin unlined?
Because the Caruso jacket is actually a stunning herringbone which I was contemplating as well:
Yes, you have ever so gently swayed me towards your position. I had long considered "doeskin" as it has a lovely nap in the wool fabric.
The deep and rich purplish, burgundy eggplant hue of Alden #8 is a classic menswear piece that will never go out of style IMO.
Why did you have to mention this to me....my wallet abhors you....
