I say no. Poor fitting suit did that.
I can’t buy clothes off the rack. No chance. I’m a tough fit.
I’m going to look into MT as an option. It would be nice to get some clothes that fit me better.
Jeans, chinos and shirts are what intrigue me.
Those are brand new, never worn. I think they look worn because of the style. Cavalry Twill I think they are.
Would the seam show less if the pants were a lighter color, like Stone or Khaki?
I buy pants smaller in the waist because they fit me better everywhere else and then I let the waist out...
When you let out pants does it always show at the sides of the seam the place where they were turned inside?
Also can I have just the waist band let out? That would be covered by a belt so it wouldn’t matter the old seam showing.
I’ve enclosed some pictures so you see what I mean.
Is it better to buy pants too big and have them taken in or buy them too small and letting them out?
I will stay within the 2 inch rule.
Buying my correct size is not an option.
I am thin, if that matters in the equation.
I have these pants that I’m trying to keep for as long as I possibly can as I really like them.
As you can see the side where my pockets are fraying from taking things in and out of them.
Is there a fix I can do?
Any suggestions would be great.
I took pants in for hemming and the tailor inseamed them to 30”, I’m 36”.
What is my recourse? Will they pay me for the price of the item?
They were brand new unhemmed Bullard Twill.
Anybody interested in a pair 32W 30L? I’ve got a great deal for you.
