    Hello,

    I have an unusual question.

Have any of you ever had rubber shirt holder strips sewn on to the inside of your pant waistbands?

I have recently dropped about 13 lbs of weight, most of which was concentrated around my midsection. I've altered most of my pants accordingly. Some of my older pants from a few years back, which I again fit into, would only need about 3/4" to 1" waist alteration to fit perfectly.

I was wondering if it is possible to have rubber shirt holders sewn into the inside of a pant waistband, for both the extra grip, as well as to circumvent more alterations. I would normally ask my tailor, but the gentleman is out of the country for three weeks visiting family in Europe.

Any feedback would be most appreciated.

    Thanks.

I've never had them added after they were made, but my tailor puts them in all the trousers he makes for me. They are wonderful.

They can be added. My tailor added some to a pair of pants that kept rolling over at the waist. It kept the waist from rolling and kept my shirt tucked in.
