I have a pair of grey trousers with a sort of darker grey prince of Wales check, and also a grey silk tie in the same. However, both of them have a thin red overcheck on them. Would that render either of them unsuitable for wear with a stroller (Or morning dress for that matter)?

Also, would a pair of plain grey fishtail backed trousers be suitable for either (not including a morning suit)?

First a disclaimer, I am not familiar with dress codes and standards in the UK (or pretty much anywhere outside of my own little hamlet).

That being said, your question reminded of a website from years ago called "Black Tie Guide". It would seem that site has since been sold and/or otherwise evolved, however perhaps you might find something useful here: http://www.morningdressguide.com/

I already answered the same question in another thread of yours.

Trousers? Are you a Brit? You probably don't want the advice of the Americans on here. We seem to adhere far less to sartorial protocol than our British cousins.

I'm no help in answering your question. Apologies.
